Hello. Even though this is a german forum I hope that it is permitted to write in english, as my german is rather rusty. We have now used Cadison for a year or so, and we are actually able to do our project in the program, so to that extent everything is well. We are however a bit in doubt about what is the "correct" way to work with measuring point and measuring transducers, and would be happy if someone could tell me how they are doing. It may be that there are no "right" way to use these object classes, but on the other hand could there be a philosophy behind the way it was supposed to work. I can tell that at the moment do we normally insert measuring transducers in the P&ID, and when we need to indicate that a row of instruments and valves are included in an automation loop, we link everything to a measuring point, that are inserted into the databasetree. I can however see from the tutorial that it is suggested that it is the measuring point that are inserted into the P&ID, and I guess that the physical instruments (measuring transducers) needed to do the task shall then be attached to the measuring point afterwards? I would be very happy to hear about others experiences in this field. Eine Antwort auf diesen Beitrag verfassen (mit Zitat/Zitat des Beitrags) IP |

hello matros, yes, there is also a right way to do it. finally you must look in which case you will use your drawing. example: you got a measure point what is in 3d a object valve2way. so if you need it to make also isometrics you must also look about the isogen-identifier and isogen-skey's. the object for measure-point, so as i know (version 5.4), do not get any possiblility to switch the right skey. so at least you must look which output you generally got in your projects and so you can optimize your way to build your measurepoints. so, your way at this moment is also ok. best regards, ..: irilao::.. PS: If you look for easyier cad-application for plant-design...try www.x-plant.com. you can download there the software. without dongle you can not save your produced drawings.
